Bob Switzer was "one of a kind". Often when someone passes away, you expect to hear such cliches, but in Bob's case, it's especially true. Bob had a variety of friends from all walks of life, and is a legend amongst music fans, musicians and the downtown Halifax business community. His store, Taz Records, is a familiar mainstay with an atmosphere like no other. His knowledge of music and history was astounding. Folks often went to Taz just to have a conversation with Bob, or to merely listen to him engaged with another while browsing the hordes of the new and used records, tapes and CDs Taz was famous for.
